Back in 1997, the Russian Duma (congress) passed a restrictive law about religious freedom. But thanks to the law being very poorly written with lots of loopholes, the activity of larger mission organizations were not greatly affected. Another very restrictive law is presently working its way through the Duma now. The proposed legislation will significantly affect Student Venture. Please pray that this proposed legislation does NOT become law, for the sake of God’s Kingdom in this, the largest country in the world!
