Greetings from Kauai! As you can imagine, it is very, very beautiful here. The weather is a little cooler than I anticipated - in the low 70's. So I don't know how the water temp will be, but we do want to get in and do some snorkeling. Today we will take a drive along the coast and stop at key whale sighting locations.
I am trying to write my first blog, but Apostle Bob keeps interrupting me with his shouts, "There is another big spout...another tail flap...oh, another side slap." How is a person supposed to get anything done?
As we were sitting on our lanai (balcony) eating breakfast, we were delighting in the many whale sightings and trying to make sure that the other one did not miss anything. So with each sight, we would quickly describe the location from our beautiful panoramic view of the ocean. "11:00; between the palms; close to the building on the right..." I soon realized that we had different perspectives and needed to sit closer to one another. Isn't that how it must be in the body of Christ as we live in these times of greater revelation? We must be strategically positioned in close connection to one another so that nothing is lost in our communications or directions. God is certainly opening the heavens and giving us much to see (know and experience). Let's not miss anything because of disconnection or distractions!
Oh, oh...two whales just breached (came fully out of the water) several times. WOW! What an amazing and unusual sight! Apostle Bob already left for a walk along the coast, so I had to call his cell phone to find out if he saw it. He did and was just getting out his phone to call me. Let's be that committed and diligent to keep each other aware and in tune with all the exciting things that the Lord is doing in this day!
Love, Linda
